Chartered as both a structural (MIStructE) and civil (MICE) engineer, with over eight years across leading consultancies including AECOM and Walsh. Her core work is the appraisal and retrofit of existing buildings, including domestic property: assessing the condition and capacity of existing structures, checking and validating other engineers' designs, and designing the interventions. She has run projects from foundations and substructure through to completion, coordinating closely with geotechnical teams, and is an ICE professional reviewer.

Chartered structural engineer for over thirty years, with close to four decades in the field. His career spans major, technically demanding projects, held throughout in senior engineering management and technical-lead roles.
